The Economic Justice Working Group advocates for the following:
* Raising the minimum wage to a “living wage”
* Providing quality, affordable health care for all citizens
* Supporting working class people through unions and other means
* Economic support and training for workers who have lost their jobs through “outsourcing” and technological changes
* Adequate funding for human needs
* Ensuring that wealthy corporations and individuals pay their fair share of taxes
* Eliminating corporate money from our electoral system
* Providing qualtiy, affordable education through college for all citizens
* Building local self-sufficiency and locally-owned businesses
* Local cooperatives for food growing, child care, elder care and health care
