Shrine of the Black Madonna
Please save the date, and join us! Bring your whole family and as many friends as you can.
The program will include the Peace Camp/Club Kids, drumming and much more.
Bring some food or drink to share, and enjoy the company of fellow peace activists. Vegetarian/Vegan dishes are encouraged! Our host has kindly requested that we avoid pork and beef dishes.
We'll have an opportunity for people to share what their organizations are doing and planning. Organizations are invited to bring a small display and/or literature. Please reserve table space at 713 900-4752 (HPJC).

International Day of Peace-Showcase
Join us at the Houston Community College Central Campus to participate in its International Day of Peace-Showcase. The event is planned for September 21, 2011 from 10:30am-12:00noon in the Learning Hub Science Building in Room 100 at 1300-B Holman Street.
This will be an opportunity for the college community to learn about the different ways to promote peace. It will also provide an opportunity to create awareness of local community base organizations in the City of Houston that help create a culture of peace.
