The Houston Committee for Youth and Non-Military Opportunities, Inc. is having its third annual jazz fundraiser on Sunday, September 2 at the Houston Mennonite Church.  We've had wonderful events the past two years, featuring some of Houston's most promising young jazz artists and raising funds to support our counter-recruitment work in Houston schools.

Since 1994, the Houston Committee for Youth and Nonmilitary Opportunities, Inc., has been helping
Houston students get accurate information about the realities of military enlistment and alternatives to the
military for jobs and education.  We hope you can come out this Labor Day Weekend to enjoy some great
jazz and support our literature, tabling and speakers bureau projects in Houston high schools.  You can
also get information about how you can financially support and volunteer with the project.
