• Brings organizations together to work on improving the administration of criminal justice, de-militarizing U.S. foreign policy and the federal budget, and creating a more just global economic order.
• Connects religious bodies with grassroots advocates to help them act on their national resolutions
• Holds activist conferences

Publicizing the organizations, their work, and their events
• Maintains the HPJC website
• Issues the twice-monthly e-mail calendar of events to .2300 subscribers
• Scripts the weekday calendar on KPFT

Resources

Participation in the benefits of HPJC’s 501(c)(3) status
• Accepts tax-deductible donations and foundation grants for the educational and organizing work of member groups
• Provides low cost bulk mailing to publicize their events
• Enables member groups to buy office supplies without sales tax

Speakers Bureau
• Maintains a list of topics and speakers submitted by members to offer for presentation to the community
• Maintains a list AV resources for presentation on peace and justice issues (in progress)
