On the morning of August 6, 1945, the U.S. dropped the first atomic
bomb used in war on the people of Hiroshima, Japan. Three days later,
a second nuclear bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. We gather to say "never
again."
Join us for a solemn vigil and memorial for the victims, and to
advocate for an end to nuclear weapons and war.
Refreshments will be served. Sponsored by
Women's International
League for Peace
and Freedom,
Pax Christi and HPJC.
