Spirituality Based Social Action & Peacemaking Lecture & Workshop, Saturday & Sunday, Feb. 11-12, Rothko Chapel
Zen Master Bernie Glassman will explain how Buddhist teachings offer valuable tools for living a life that matters. By integrating livelihood, social action, and meditation, one can find profound personal fulfillment while contributing to a more inclusive society. Glassman will explain how this approach led to the establishment of the Greyston Foundation, a network of non-profits and businesses that greatly reduced poverty in Yonkers, New York. Since space is limited at the Archives House for the workshop, please RSVP to Shoshana@rothkochapel.org by February 8th.
